Tim joined Badgley Phelps in 2008 as an investment manager and is our chief investment officer. His career in portfolio management and financial services spans more than two decades. Tim came to the firm from Threshold Group, where he provided investment management services to private clients. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Bank of America. Tim’s expertise is focused in security analysis, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and alternative investments.

An avid skier, cyclist, and reader, Tim is passionate about education and helping the next generation prepare for what is certain to be a complex world, advising young adults on career and educational paths. He hopes to travel next to Europe or any place with good skiing, but in the meantime, lives on Bainbridge Island with his wife and daughter.
