Nam Nguyen is an Equity Trader at Badgley Phelps, where he supports the firm's investment team by executing equity trades with precision and discipline. He is passionate about the markets and enjoys combining thoughtful research with calculated decision-making to identify opportunities and deliver efficient trade execution.
Before joining Badgley Phelps, Nam served as a Trading Operations Associate and Portfolio Analyst at Financial Advocates in Olympia, Washington. He also worked as an ETP Specialist at ACA Compliance in New York, where he gained experience supporting investment operations and regulatory processes.
Nam earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from San Diego State University and has worked in the investment industry since 2021.
Outside of work, Nam enjoys staying active through soccer, basketball, swimming, and hiking. A self-motivated trader since his college years, Nam's curiosity about the markets and enjoyment of investment research ultimately led him to Badgley Phelps.
