Financial companies choose how they share your personal information.  Federal law gives consumers the right to limit some but not all sharing.  Federal law also rquires us to tell you how we collect, share and protect your information.  Please read this notice carefully to understand what we do.

The types of personal information we collect and share depend on the product or service you have with us. This information can include:

  • Portfolio holdings, account balances and transaction history
  • Investment experience and risk tolerance
  • Social Security number, tax information and income
  • Bank and money transfer instructions

When you are no longer a client, we continue to follow the same process described in this notice regarding the sharing of your information.

How does Badgley Phelps protect my collect information? - We collect your personal information, for example, when you

  • provide us with your personal financial information
  • tell us about your portfolio goals
  • show us your government‐issued ID or driver’s license
  • when you deposit money or we process your funds transfer requests

  • affiliates using your information to market to you
  • sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you

Definitions

Affiliates - Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Our affiliates include Focus Operating, LLC, Focus Treasury & Credit Solutions, and Focus Risk Solutions, LLC

 

Nonaffiliates - Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

  • Nonaffiliated business partners include Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and Barwick & Partners, Inc.

 

Joint Marketing - A formal agreement between nonaffilated financial companies together market financial products or services to you

  • We do not have joint marketing agreements

 

Other Important Information

You may have privacy protections under applicable state laws, including those for California residents. To the extent the state laws apply, we will comply with them when we share information about you, and in some cases this information may be limited by you.

For California Residents:
The California Information Privacy Act provides additional protections regarding whether we share your personal information. We will not share information we collect about California residents with outside companies except as permitted by law.
